$99 8GB iPhone 3GS For Christmas?

Want to get the iPhone 3GS but think that it’s too pricey? Well, possibly an 8GB iPhone 3GS for $99 deal would help? that is still firmly in the “rumor” category, but word is going around that Apple is contemplating releasing said device for $99 as a method for combating Motorola’s DROID. We certainly wouldn’t mind a cheaper iPhone

3GS, even though it’s an 8GB version, at least it provides more options for end users, right?
