Apple Event On Jan 26th In San Fran

A report on Fox News has confirmed that Apple has an event planned at the Yerba Buena Center in San Francisco on Jan 26th. With the indications strong that Apple will be making a major product announcement, word is going around that it will be associated with a product in the “mobility space”, which certainly seems to allude to the Apple tablet, or whether not, an updated iPhone. To further fuel the rumors, it’s been said that Apple has told some of its iPhone developers to prepare their apps to run on a larger device, which would probably mean a tablet device. It looks like we’ve less than a month to go to (hopefully) get an official Apple tablet announcement!

Visentin LED Light Shower

Would you want to be bathing in a LED light shower in the future? The concept from Visentin is a luxury shower head that bathes you in a rainbow of therapeutic colored LED lights such as orange, renewing white, relaxing blue, healing pink or refreshing Green, each with its own therapeutic qualities, turning your shower into some sort of a home spa. It certainly looks futuristic, and who knows, possibly we’ll all be using that sometime in the future, right?

Another iPhone Credit Card Reader For CES?

It looks like Mophie isn’t substance to focus solely on battery packs for the iPhone, as it planning to unveil more data on its Credit Card Reader at CES 2010 (which is just around the corner). On paper it seems similar to the Square by Twitter founder, Jack Dorsey, so it will be interesting to see how they compete against each other, or perhaps complement each other. The additional hardware add on to your iPhone (or iPod) touch should turn your iPhone into a credit card terminal, which should help sales society who need to manufacture transactions with customers who are on the road. CES 2010 looks like it’s going to be heating up, doesn’t it?

Apple Magic Wand Remote Patent Updated

Apple already has a patent on a Magic Wand of sorts, which allows you to control a media system via a device similar to Nintendo’s Wiimote. Could Apple be looking to release such as device for its Apple TV or iMac anytime soon? The news that Apple has recently updated that patent is certainly interesting, though unfortunately it won’t guarantee that Apple is going to actually release such a device anytime soon. Some of the updates include accelerometers on the device, which will certainly assemble things more interesting. There is plus a photoshop-like application for its Magic Wand pictured; perhaps indicating that it could be used for drawing/doodling or similar aims? What do you think?

Rumor: No Samsung Phone Launches At CES?

This still is an unconfirmed rumor, but word is that Samsung Mobile won’t be doing any handset launches at CES 2010. The news that they will be holding their CES press conference at 730am on the 2nd day of CES might plus indicate that they’re not showcasing anything breathtaking. There will apparently be plenty of TV-related announcements from Samsung, just a lack of cell phone related news. We certainly hope that rumor is wrong, but with LG not placing all that much importance on CES 2010 that year additionally, perhaps there might be some truth in that rumor?
