The web-based SDK from Palm known as Ares is no longer available to just selected developers, but has entered the public beta domain, basically opening the floodgates for anyone with some basic technical ability to churn out their own webOS app. Of course, the final results will probably be far from what a seasoned developer can churn out, but at least it ought to give you a sense of satisfaction knowing that you’re using your very own note-taker that
you programmed instead of somebody else’s work. that service can be accessed via the web browser using Safari, Chrome or Firefox browsers from ares.palm.com. The other features are listed in the extended post.Permalink: Palm Ares SDK now in public beta from Ubergizmo | Hot: Nokia Booklet 3G Review
