Is Microsoft Preparing Some New Xbox Consoles With A New scheme Factor?

In a recent talk at the University of Washington, it seems that Steve Ballmer might have indirectly hinted at some new Xbox design factors in the future. According to the transcript of the Q&A session, he mentioned:

“For that big screen device … there’s no diversity. You get precisely the Xboxes that we build for you. We may have more mold factors in the future that are designed for various price points and options, but we think it’s going to [be] vital.”

With that in mind, you can start imagining different structure factors, though there isn’t any concrete info on how a

new Xbox might look like. Of course, most users would want the device to be slimmed down, possibly like the PS3 slim, though some are hoping that there might be Project Natal hardware built into the console itself, and whether that were the case, we’re certain most of you wouldn’t mind the Xbox getting a tad bigger to accommodate that.
