Robots take centerstage in Tokyo

Japan seems to be a society that is slowly but surely moving towards having robots serve the folks there, and they are the main draw currently at an expo in Tokyo. Some of these little robots would be the sound-sensitive Chapit, who is capable of answering simple questions while cracking jokes with folks, helping the lonely fight loneliness while keeping their minds careful

even in old age. It would be extremely interesting to see whether robots will start becoming more mainstream in our homes here in the US.
