According to reports online – Verizon has announced that it will not be charging its customers the $2 fee. that comes after the countless complaints from its customers that can be seen on blogs and in the comments section all by the Net, and additionally after the FCC mentioned that it would be looking into the situation.
What’s interesting is that the fee wasn’t even officially announced yet – it was discovered via a leaked document, so it makes me wonder about what would happen whether the document wasn’t leaked and the convenience fees came into play without giving society a chance to complain about it beforehand – would things turn out differently?
