Galaxy S AdvanceWhile everybody is looking forward to the Galaxy S3, it looks like Samsung has other plans up its sleeve before it unveils its upcoming flagship phone. Today, the company introduced the Samsung Galaxy S Advance. It packs a 1GHz dual-core processor, a 4″ (480 x 800) Super AMOLED display, Android 2.3 Gingerbread (with TouchWiz), a 5-megapixel rear camera, a 1.3-megapixel front facing camera, 768MB of RAM, 8/16GB of internal storage, and a microSD card slot (up to 32GB). While it’s no quad-core phone, it looks like it’s going to be a mid-range phone that can hold its own. No word on pricing or a release period, but don’t expect it to break the bank.
