Firsy off - YouTube wrecks video quality. Compare clips taken with Flip HD and the new Vado (or so it seems) and you will not wannt to use Youtube for high quality videos.

The footage taken with Vado is very sharp, colors are more vivid althought not oversaturated. Even night scenes look very well and balanced:

@gmathol

Yeah but everything you do over an ethernet connection is logged somewhere and is traceable while the coin in your pocket doesn't require an ethernet connection.

To much effort. To smuggle information run a http/ftp service on a single PC - nobody knows that this machine is out there!

But the smuggler knows the IP address and once he obtained the information he can shut it down.

Big deal!

John Koar, either spelling will work: "nickle" is an acceptable variant of "nickel."

Hollowed coins go back 100 years. The storage device is impressive. Nickel is spelled nickel not nickle.

Not a new idea. I saw this in a spy journal from the 60's. The nickel was used to contain a microfilm and was sealed with a dark substance and a small hole was visible on the front where a pin could be inserted to split the coin and recover the film. Microfilm was also rolled and hidden in hollowed out matchsticks in the 2nd world war.
