Disney+, Hulu, and Max have joined forces to launch an exciting new bundle with diverse content at a low price.
It is a first for the streaming business as Disney Entertainment, coupled with Warner Bros. Discovery, has launched the anticipated bundle subscription offering. It includes Disney Plus, Hulu, and Max in a single package.
From today on, subscribers in the US can subscribe to this entertainment package through the websites of any of the three participating streaming platforms. This new plan offers a diverse program selection that is accessible to more customers.
At a lower price, it includes content from well-known channels such as ABC, HBO, FX, DC, Marvel, Discovery, and HGTV.
This bundle is available in two-priced plans: the ad-supporting plan is $16.99 monthly, and the add-free plan is $29.99 monthly. According to the joint announcement, the bundled subscription is 38% cheaper than the cost of each service when subscribed for individually.
This pricing strategy aims to increase the proportions of high-quality content available to a wider market. Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav highlighted the package’s openness, calling the plans “ad-light” and “add-free.”
The basic plan includes ads in a small portion of live and linear programming, so viewers will experience minimal disruption.
President of Direct to Consumer at Disney Entertainment, Joe Early, commented on the new bundle. “Considering Hulu’s addition to Disney Plus earlier this year, this new partnership with Max means more options and benefits for the subscribers, said Early.
This partnership is all about our subscribers. They would have the opportunity to watch blockbuster films, originals, and a vast collection of movies from the best brands in the streaming industry.
What to expect from the new bundle
Consumers subscribing to this package can access an extensive catalog from Disney Plus, Hulu, and Max. Whether you like old Disney movies, new Marvel movies, or HBO thrillers, this bundle covers all the options.
Some of the shows and movies that are currently popular, such as Family Guy, Bob’s Burgers, Frozen, The Avengers, Star Wars, Toy Story, Batman, Game of Thrones, Lord of the Rings, and Harry Potter, are also included in the bundle.
The launch is perfect now, especially when several highly anticipated premiers are available. Thus, subscribers can expect new seasons or series like Only Murderers in the Building Season 4 on Hulu (August 27), Agatha All Alone on Disney Plus (September 18), and The Penguin Max (September). This strategic release will ensure that the viewers will have a lot of contact to watch from the start.
