Netflix premieres the first 4 minutes of ‘Twilight of the Gods,’ offering a thrilling glimpse into its epic, mythological saga.

The long-awaited adult animation series, directed by Zack Synder, will launch on Thursday, September 19th. It will provide fans with a new Outlook on the battle of generations.
The series starts with the mortal King Leif, voiced by Stuart Martin, steering towards his bride, Sigrid, voiced by Sylvia Hooks. The scene depicts the circumstances that brought the two warriors into a fight on the battlefield.
The series’ events then involve the couple contending with the wrath of Thor, portrayed by Pilou Asbaek. And then, with their team of crusaders, they embark on a vengeance mission.
Snyder elaborated on the specifics of animating the process: ‘Animation as a genre lets us be honest when telling the story and give the viewers something they didn’t think they were going to like.’
A star-studded cast and creative team
The show is apparently comprised of 8 episodes and has a quite strong cast of voices. It portrays Rahul Kohli as Egill, Paterson Joseph as Loki, Jamie Clayton as Seid-Kona, and John Noble as Odin.
Twilight of Gods is a production of Snyder in collaboration with Jay Oliva and Eric Carrasco. Stone Quarry Animation does the Animation with the visuals provided by Xilam Animation.
Snyder focuses on shooting the show’s most critical scenes and personally directs the show’s first and final episodes.
