Roku is set to launch a free, Ad-supported sports channel soon

Roku is launching a new free sports channel packed with live games and exclusive content, giving fans 24/7 access to their favorite sports.

Sports streaming is about to get a new significant player, as Roku Sports is more than an excellent addition to the market. Starting on August 12th, service users can enjoy a newly launched sports channel with nonstop sports action.

The latest offering from Roku is ideal for those who no longer enjoy movies and television shows. Sports enthusiasts can now immerse themselves in live, action-packed sports and exclusive broadcasts.

Another good news is that the new Roku supports channel is free of cost but ad-supported. The channel will showcase live streaming of games from MLBl and formulae car racing. It also includes other sports content exclusive to Roku.

Its originals include shows like “NFL Draft: The Pick Is In” and “WWE: Next Gen.” Furthermore, Roku has collaborated with content providers to air special events. It plans to bring Top Rank boxing matches and poker events from PokerGo.

The platform has also announced that this is only the beginning, and the company wants to add more shows and events to the channel in the future.

Accessible sports content across multiple devices

Another exciting aspect of Roku’s new sports channel is that it is easily accessible. Users can watch the channel using the Roku live TV guide, and the most exciting part is that you do not need to subscribe or sign up.

This stands in contrast to other streaming platforms such as ESPN Plus and Max. As ESPN+ recently raised its prices, Max removed the free excess from the Bleacher Report. Roku’s free sports channel can be easily assessed on Roku devices and TVs.

It can also be accessed by other service apps available for Android and IOS or on the Roku website.
