- EE customers can now access Disney+ on EE TV Box Pro and EE TV Box Edge devices.
- Disney+ subscriptions on the platform will continue to be billed directly by Disney rather than through EE.
- EE says the addition strengthens its goal of making EE TV a central hub for entertainment content.

EE has officially added Disney+ support to its TV platform, allowing customers to stream content from the popular service through EE TV Box Pro and EE TV Box Edge devices.
The move follows reports earlier this month that the broadband and mobile provider planned to introduce the streaming platform to its television ecosystem. Customers can now access Disney+ directly from supported EE TV hardware, giving them another major entertainment option alongside the services already available on the platform.
Despite the launch, EE will not bundle Disney+ billing into its own service. Subscribers who want access to Disney+ will still need to manage and pay for their memberships directly through Disney.
The company has also confirmed that standard Disney+ pricing remains in place. Customers should not expect any exclusive discounts or promotional rates simply because they access the service through EE’s TV platform.
Disney+ Finally Arrives on EE TV
EE has not explained why Disney+ support took so long to reach its television devices, especially given the streaming service’s popularity and the fact that many competing TV platforms have offered access for years.
Nevertheless, the arrival of Disney+ expands the entertainment options available to EE TV users. Subscribers can now watch Disney’s extensive catalogue, which includes blockbuster films, original productions, classic family content, and series from major franchises.
Disney’s content comes at a cost. The company recently raised its prices after facing an exorbitant bill, reflecting the financial pressures behind streaming operations.
The addition marks another step in EE’s efforts to position its TV service as a one-stop destination for streaming and on-demand entertainment.
Industry observers have noted that consumers increasingly prefer platforms that bring multiple streaming services together in one place, reducing the need to switch between different devices and applications.
EE Highlights Broader Entertainment Offering
Luciano Oliveira, EE’s Director of Product for Home and TV, said the company wants EE TV to serve as a leading destination for entertainment and believes the arrival of Disney+ helps achieve that objective.
According to Oliveira, the inclusion of Disney+ broadens the range of content available on the platform and gives customers easier access to some of the most popular shows, films, and family-focused programming in one location.
He explained that the service adds a wider selection of highly regarded entertainment, from major new releases to well-known series and enduring favourites that appeal to viewers of all ages.
The executive indicated that EE’s focus remains on bringing together the content customers enjoy most while making it easier to discover and watch through a single platform.
No Changes to Disney+ Subscription Costs
While the launch increases convenience for EE TV customers, it does not change how Disney+ subscriptions operate.
Users who sign up for Disney+ will continue to deal directly with Disney for account management and billing. EE will simply provide access to the application through its television devices.
The company has also made it clear that the rollout does not include discounted subscription packages or special pricing arrangements. Customers will pay the same Disney+ rates that apply through other supported platforms.
Even without additional incentives, the launch represents a notable update for EE TV users who have been waiting for Disney+ compatibility. With the streaming service now available on both the EE TV Box Pro and EE TV Box Edge, subscribers can access a larger library of entertainment without relying on external streaming hardware or separate devices.
The addition further strengthens EE’s content lineup and reflects the growing importance of offering customers access to major streaming platforms through a single, unified television experience.
